Coach Laurie recently attended the 2015 PSA International Conference and Trade Show at the Bloomington Ice Garden in Minnesota and at the conclusion of the Conference competed at the U.S. Open Professional Figure Skating Championships on May 23, 2015. Here is a message from Laurie regarding this experience:

“I went to the International PSA Coaching Conference in Bloomington, MN. I was able to stay with my mom and dad and get some well-deserved time with them and my sisters. The conference speakers were all National and World- Renowned coaches or specialists. It was so nice to be in an environment of learning, sharing and growing. So inspiring!

I also performed in the U.S. Professional Open on Saturday, May 23. It was the most positive experience I’ve ever been a part of. We all had something very special to share with the judges and large audience. There were 19 performances that took to the ice that evening. I got to perform first. We had one pair team, one dance team, an innovative group number of six skaters, a female “Fire on Ice” performer loaded with a backflip, an aerial artist and several men and ladies solo skaters. We all supported each other for this amazing competition event. So thankful!”
